There’s something special about being back together. 💙
We began our first day of school gathered as one RSMCS family in all-school chapel, worshiping together and setting our hearts on the One who will lead us through the year ahead.
Three days in, the classrooms are buzzing, friendships are reconnecting, new ones are beginning, and campus feels like home again.
What a gift to learn, grow, worship, and do life together.

Littlest Leo’s Summer Adventures: I’M READY!
YOU GUYS... today was Meet the Teacher Day!
And guess what?! I’m in Mrs. Cumming’s Kindergarten class!
I found my seat, saw my new classroom, and there was even a special treat and note waiting for me from my teacher. She says I’m a STAR! ⭐
I met some of my new classmates today, too. And you know what made me really happy? I already knew a couple of them from CREW Summer Camp! One of my friends is in Miss McGlaun’s Kindergarten class. We’re both officially ready to be RSMCS Kindergarteners!
Remember at the beginning of summer when I told you I was a little scared?
Well...
I’M NOT SCARED ANYMORE!
I know where to eat lunch. I know where the library is. I know who will help me if I get a boo-boo. I know where I’ll play. I’ve met new friends. And now I know my teacher and my classroom, too!
I’m SUPER DUPER excited for my first day of school on Wednesday, August 26!
And if you’re feeling a little nervous about starting school, I hope my adventures helped you feel better, too. RSM Christian School is a place where there are lots of people ready to know you, love you, help you, and cheer you on.

Littlest Leo’s Summer Adventures: LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!
YOU GUYS!!! Guess what was outside my house this morning?!
A sign just for ME!
It says “I’m ready for Kindergarten at RSM Christian School!” And I think it means I’m officially almost a Kindergartener!
Remember when I was a little nervous about starting school? Well... I’m not so nervous anymore.
I’ve explored the campus, found the library, learned where I’ll eat lunch and play, met some of the nice people who will take care of me, and now there are only 7 DAYS until my very first day of Kindergarten!
But guess what happens even sooner?!
In just 5 DAYS, I get to meet my teacher AND see my classroom for the first time! I wonder where I’ll sit. And where I’ll put my backpack. And what my teacher will be like. And who my new friends will be...
Okay, maybe I have a LOT of questions.
But mostly, I’m just really, really excited.
I think I’m ready.

Littlest Leo’s Summer Adventures: Where Do We Eat?!
Hi, friends! It’s Littlest Leo!
Guess what I found today? The lunch tables!
I heard this is where we get to eat our snacks AND our lunches with our friends. And the big kids told me something else that made me feel really good. They said the outdoor staff and aides are SUPER nice and always there if you need help. 💙
But I think I figured out the best part...
After we eat, WE GET TO PLAY!
School is only 9 DAYS AWAY, and you know what? I’m not feeling quite so scared anymore.
I know where the office is. I found the library. I’ve explored the playground. And now I know where I’m going to eat lunch with my new friends!
I think I’m almost ready to be a Kindergartener.

🦁 Littlest Leo’s Summer Adventures: I Found the Library!
Hi, friends! It’s Littlest Leo!
Guess what? School starts in TWO WEEKS, and I’m not feeling quite as nervous anymore. I’m starting to know my way around this place!
Today I found the LIBRARY, and there are SO. MANY. BOOKS.
I heard that Kindergarteners get to come here every week and our librarian reads us a story. I LOVE story time, so I think I’m going to be really good at that part.
And when I’m one of the bigger kids, I’ll even get to check out books and take them HOME! They told me that’s a big responsibility, so I probably have a little growing to do first.
Every place I visit makes me a little more excited for my first day. Pretty soon, I won’t just be exploring RSM Christian School...
I’ll be a Kindergartener here!

One of the most memorable Night of Generosity auction items was Principal for the Day, and Hayden Davis stepped into the role like a pro!
From welcoming students at morning drop-off and making announcements to helping lead chapel, serving lunch, hosting a special Principal’s Lunch with friends, and even taking over the PA system, Hayden embraced every part of the job with enthusiasm, confidence, and a servant’s heart.
Watching him lead with joy, encourage others, and experience a day in the life of school leadership was such a fun reminder that leadership is all about serving others.
Thanks for being an incredible Principal for the Day, Hayden!

🦁 Littlest Leo’s Summer Adventures: The Front Office
Hi, friends! It’s me, Littlest Leo!
Today I visited the front office!
I learned that this is where lots of important things happen.
If someone gets a little boo-boo, there are kind people here to help. ❤️
If moms or dads have a question, they can stop by and ask.
If I ever forget something or need a little help, I know there will always be a friendly smile waiting for me.
I think that’s pretty special.
I’m learning that no matter where I go around campus, there are people who care about me. That makes me feel a little more ready for Kindergarten.
