Daina Boone

Mrs. Boone graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a B.A. in English and History.  She then went on to complete her Master of Education at Colorado State University, where she began her career in education, teaching 6th-grade Language Arts.  Daina and her family returned to California, and she went on to teach English, history, and economics courses at both the middle and high school levels before taking a career break to raise her two young children.  Both of her children are RSMCS students; her daughter graduated from 8th grade in 2025.

The only thing Daina loves to do, besides being with her husband and children, is read!  She reads all types of novels, poetry, and non-fiction, with a particular love of Shakespeare and Victorian era novels.  Her love of reading and knowledge of classic and contemporary literature for children inspired her to come back into the workforce as a Librarian because she believes a lifelong reader is a lifelong learner.  When Daina is not reading, she is…well, she’s always reading!
