COVID-19 Update: Our waiver was approved!

Every child deserves to thrive in school and in life.

A community of faith-filled families for children ages Preschool - Junior High.
We cultivate the whole child through spiritual formation, academic excellence, athletics, arts and more.

3 become one

Mission Hills Christian School and Saddleback Valley Christian School together bring over 6 decades of experience in providing excellent Christian education that is built on the Word of God and is intentionally designed to help each child discover and live into his or her God-given purpose.  As a ministry of The Bridge Church RSM, we will move into the bright future God has for us as Rancho Santa Margarita Christian School (RSMCS).

It is our plan to begin school on campus on August 26 as scheduled. We will be discussing potential safety precautions in the weeks to come and will communicate those guidelines as they are determined. Our intent is to provide a loving, safe environment in which our students can learn and grow. As such, we will be carefully considering scientific data, evidence-based practices, and the realities of what can be expected of students, especially those in early grade levels.

While you will notice a gradual transition on our website, communication pieces, and social media to reflect the new face of RSMCS, the core values of our community remain steadfast.

“Every day, we hear of children struggling in school and in life.  As parents, it can be overwhelming to know what to do.  Your school should come alongside you in this journey. RSM Christian School offers affordable education and partners with parents to build a faith-filled community that focuses on developing the whole child so children will flourish in every area of life.”

What sets rsm Christian school apart?

RSM Christian School is more than a school. We are family. We learn together, serve together, and worship together. We celebrate one another and link arms to hold one another up through difficult seasons of life. When you come to RSM Christian School, you are family.

Affordable Education: A Worthwhile Investment

We recognize the financial investment involved in a quality private education. RSM Christian School proudly offers Variable Tuition, a need-based tuition assistance program similar to those used by many private schools, colleges, and universities. This program considers each family’s unique financial situation, making an RSMCS education affordable to many qualified families who could not otherwise join our school community.

Excellence in Education

Our students score in the top 10% in the nation on standardized testing. Over 70% of our graduates participate in honors classes in high school, and 86% maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher. Just as important, parents often tell us how much their kids love coming to school.

Every Child is Known

From the classroom teachers and aides to office and outdoor staff, RSM Christian School is committed to nurturing the unique potential of each student. You could say that we become students of our students in order to help them become all that God has created them to be.  Within an intimate campus setting, our students thrive in a caring community where they feel safe, loved, and valued as individuals. It is not uncommon to hear, “He was able to finally be himself when he came to RSM Christian School.”

Small Class Sizes

Our Preschool and Junior Kindergarten classes maintain a 2:15 student/teacher ratio, and our K - 8th Grade classes maintain a 1:24 teacher/student ratio.  At RSM Christian School, “falling through the cracks” is not an option.

Faith-Filled Family Community

RSM Christian School is much more than a school. It’s a true community where parents, students, siblings, grandparents, teachers, and staff come together as a family to celebrate victories, support one another through difficulty, and love one another as Christ intended.

Christian Values & Discipleship

Discipleship is at the heart of RSM Christian School. Christian values that are taught in the home and at church are practiced and championed at school where students experience what it means to be Christ-like in their attitudes and behaviors. Staff and faculty are called to model love, compassion, and grace for our students, and students are encouraged and affirmed in each of these core values.

“Mission Hills Christian School is a place where godly teachers, staff, and administrators dedicate their lives to minister to our children, and they go beyond what is expected to love, mentor, and inspire them in a secure and nurturing environment. They equip our children with academic excellence, build great character traits, and disciple them with spiritual guidance…MHCS is definitely more than an extension of our family and worth my commute every day.”

— Sunny Fong, parent

“Learning and loving to the fullest at this school! A blessing beyond belief- we love being part of the Mission Hills Family. Shaping both mind and character of our sweet students. I’ve never met such amazing teachers! Their HEARTS are truly invested in the success of each and every child. They stand by the truth that EVERY child is a gift from God!”

— Megan Walker, Parent

Everyone was super welcoming and I felt so comforted and I knew that every single teacher in the school cared about everyone. I felt that I will stay here for my whole school life and that God wanted me here for a very special reason. Now, I look forward to going to school EVERY SINGLE day because my friends always have my back and I can always count on them and tell them what is going on in my life. I love everyone equally and there is no one that I will ever single out. I love SVCS!

— Isabella, 7th Grader

The experience I have had at SVC has made my love and faith in God stronger because I have amazing staff including teachers and monitors around me who are so kind and shine God throughout them. I also get to pray every morning, and do one on one time with God, and learn about him in small groups or in class. I have met people who I can trust, and this school overall has matured me, and made me such a stronger person in my faith.

— Makenna, 6th Grader
