STATEMENT OF FAITH:

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

  • We believe that the salvation of lost and sinful man through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit is essential.

  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost- they that are saved to the resurrection of life and them that are lost to the resurrection of damnation.

  • We believe in the literal existence of both heaven and hell.

REQUIREMENTS FOR K-8 TEACHERS INCLUDE:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited four-year college or university

  • Complete all necessary professional testing – CBEST, CSET, and RICA

  • Valid California teaching credential

  • Possess, or willing to obtain ACSI Teacher Certification

  • For our Early Education program, 12 ECE core units are required

  • Minimum of two years of classroom experience

APPLICATION PROCESS:

The application process begins by:

  • List 3 references – one pastor or ministry leader, one professional and one personal

  • Include a handwritten explanation of your journey of faith in Christ, your Christian testimony, on a separate sheet of paper

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER (Elementary & Junior High)

RSM Christian School accepts applications for substitute teachers on an ongoing basis. Those desiring to sub in grades K-8 must meet the following requirements:

  • Possess a four-year college degree

  • Passed the CBEST

  • Submit a cover letter and resume

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (Preschool & Junior Kindergarten) TEACHER / SUBSTITUTE

Those desiring to teach or sub in our Early Education classes, three-year-old preschool class or junior kindergarten, must meet the following requirements:

  • Successfully completed 12 Early Childhood Education units from an accredited or approved college or university

  • Possess at least 1-year experience working with children 3-5 years of age in a licensed child care center

  • CPR & First Aid certification recommended

  • Excellent written and oral communication

  • Enjoy working with young children 3-5 years of age

  • Have a strong understanding of child development and be dedicated to creating a Christ-centered learning environment for children

  • Have an ongoing relationship with Jesus

Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Utilize developmentally appropriate practice methods to plan and implement activities for children

  • Supervision of children

  • Plan lessons

  • Teach children

  • Maintain classroom

  • Other duties as assigned

Those desiring to be a teachers aide in our Early Education classes, three-year-old preschool class or junior kindergarten, must meet the following requirements:

  • Successfully completed 6 Early Childhood Education units from an accredited or approved college or university

  • Possess at least six months of experience working with children 3-5 years of age in a licensed child care center

  • Enjoy working with young children 3-5 years of age

  • CPR & First Aid certification recommended

  • Excellent written and oral communication

  • Have a strong understanding of child development and be dedicated to creating a Christ-centered learning environment for children

  • Have an ongoing relationship with Jesus

Aide Responsibilities:

  • Assist teacher in all areas of the classroom

  • Supervision of children

  • Plan, organize, set-up and clean up developmentally appropriate creative art experiences

  • Work under the direct supervision of the teacher

FRONT OFFICE STAFF

RSMCS is hiring an addition to our front office staff. The ideal candidate is out-going and tech savy. Knowledge of GoogleSuite products is a must. Position is:

  • 4-5 days a week
  • 8am-3:45pm
